A native of Lafayette Parish, Donna graduated from University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL) in 1989 with Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Furthered her education and earned her Masters of Science degree in Nursing from University of Louisiana (UL) and Certification by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in 2007.
