Dr. Dunbar is a native of Marksville, Louisiana and received her B.S., Summa Cum Laude, from Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana. She went on to earn her medical doctorate at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA, and subsequently completed Urology Residency at OU in Oklahoma City, OK. She is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) and American Urological Association (AUA).
She is trained in General Urology, including pediatrics, men’s health, prosthetics, female incontinence/prolapse surgery. She has special interest in complex stone disease, endourology, BPH surgery, erectile dysfunction, female incontinence, as well as minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery for management of both benign and malignant disease. She has published peer reviewed journal articles and presented at national meetings.
Outside of Urology, Dr. Dunbar enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as reading, running, fishing, and cooking.
